AirAsia Announces 3 New Routes from Kuala Lumpur to Quanzhou, Chengdu and Guilin
|AirAsia has announced the addition of three new routes from Kuala Lumpur to southern regions of China. This move solidifies AirAsia’s position as the largest foreign carrier serving the world’s most populous country. AirAsia Malaysia (AK) will operate flights to Quanzhou and Guilin, while AirAsia X Malaysia (D7) will serve the Chengdu (Tianfu) route. These new routes complement AirAsia’s extensive network of 15 existing routes, offering over 129 weekly flights between China and Malaysia.
The flights to and from Quanzhou will recommence twice a week from 18 June 2023. Similarly, flights to and from Guilin will restart thrice a week on 18 July 2023. The Chengdu (Tianfu) route will initially operate twice a week starting from 1 July 2023 and increase to thrice a week from 4 July 2023. In addition to these new routes, AirAsia Malaysia (AK) recently resumed daily services from Kota Kinabalu to Wuhan, further reinforcing its status as the Malaysian carrier with the most connections and capacity in China.
To celebrate the launch of the new routes, AirAsia is offering a 20% discount on all seats across its 130 destinations, including flights to and from China. Travelers can take advantage of great deals for flights to and from Malaysia, China, Australia, Indochina, India, South Korea, Japan, and more. The promotional period runs from today until 21 May 2023, and the travel period is between 1 June and 14 December 2023.
