MYAirline will Begin Flights between KL and Bangkok in June, 2023
|MYAirline Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s low-cost carrier, plans to launch its maiden international route from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok, Thailand, in June of this year.
The debut flight would take place on June 28, with ticket sales beginning on Wednesday (May 10). The flight will depart from Terminal 2 of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for Don Mueang International Airport and Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Thailand is the budget carrier’s first international destination after less than a year of service in Malaysia.

Since its inaugural flight to Langkawi, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu on December 1, 2022, the airline has quickly acquired the trust of passengers. MYAirline now operates seven narrow-body A320 flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Langkawi, Miri, Penang, Sibu, and Tawau. The airline has secured a lease agreement for an additional 17 A320s in order to fulfil its fleet size objective of 20 aircraft by the end of the year.
According to sources, after Thailand, the airline is planning to launch routes in Vietnam, Singapore, and Cambodia this year.
